Why i want to be a teacher essay
The prospect of becoming a teacher has been a dream of mine since I was a child. I have always been inspired by the teachers in my life who showed me the power of knowledge and understanding. From them, I learned the value of education and the impact it can have on someones life. As I grew older, I realized that the responsibility of being a teacher is more than just imparting knowledge to students; it is also encouraging them to pursue their dreams, believe in themselves and strive to be the best they can be.
The idea of being a role model to students is particularly appealing to me. As a teacher, I would be able to instill important principles to my students that can shape their future. I would also have the opportunity to become a mentor and an advisor, someone students can look up to in times of need. Additionally, teaching is a profession which allows me to set my own learning objectives for my students and help them grow on a personal level.
The opportunity to work with children and young adults is also the reason why I want to become a teacher. Getting to know my students and watching them grow is an experience I relish. I believe that teaching is not just about imparting knowledge, but rather it's about understanding the needs and interests of each student. I want to be able to support and guide my students, so that they can reach their fullest potential and develop a greater love for learning.
To summarize, I want to become a teacher because I believe it is an incredibly rewarding and fulfilling profession. With my passion and enthusiasm for teaching, I am confident that I can make a positive difference in the lives of my students.
